Working on the Scholarship merit badge provides Scouts with a great opportunity to become more successful in school. They will learn how to improve their skills in the classroom, develop good study habits, and master techniques for writing reports and taking tests.
Scout of any rank and any age may participate
This merit badge is taught in two 1.5-hour sessions.
Prerequisites and homework must be completed to earn this merit badge.
Classes are typically held at the Half Hollow Hills Community Library, 55 Vanderbilt Pkwy, Dix Hills, NY 11746.
Scouts must request permission to participate from their Scoutmaster and obtain a signed blue card.
This merit badge centers around every scout's favorite place — school! I believe each of you has the potential to be a great student. I want to teach this merit badge so you will understand that you can be a scholar. The benefits are many!
